Jessica Amberley
Jessica Amberley is the principal lawyer of Legal Essentials. She has been practicing exclusively in the area of Estate Planning since 2001.
She has gained extensive experience working in private practice and in the public sector at State Trustees. Her experience lead her to become a team leader and then an auditor of others Wills. She estimates that in her practice up to 2010 she has drafted over 3,500 Wills and audited over 5,000! She started Legal Essentials in 2005, initially working on her own and then growing the business.
She is experienced in dealing with a range of clients, from the single person, to the suburban family to the complex business person.
Helping people with their estate planning is her passion. “To me, there is nothing more satisfying than a happy and satisfied client” she says.

Scott Amberley
Scott Amberley is our General Manager and Paralegal, undertaking both marketing and business management, and seeing clients to take their instructions. Scott's friendly and approachable style has made him a favourite with many of our clients.
He works closely with Jessica to ensure high quality service is delivered to our clients.
Scott is also the business analyst for Legal Essentials. In this work, he specialises in providing essential information for small businesses, enabling them to have clear focus, knowledge and direction.
John Charles Micallef
John has a particular interest in Estate Planning and Business Succession and is able to provide advice in a practical and straight forward manner. His experience and skill with clients make him a valuable addition to the team at Legal Essentials.
John has been practicing for some 38 years, over half of which were spent running his own practice.
Magdalena Njokos
Magdalena is a Lawyer of Legal Essentials, having been admitted as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2011.
Magdalena completed her Law degree in 2009 as well as completing a Business degree specialising in Banking and Finance in 2010.
Magdalena is fluent in the language of Croatian, having achieved exceptional academic results.
She has a strong interest in Estate Planning, Family Law and Corporate Law. Her vibrant and caring attitude make her a rising star of our business.
Michelle Conway
Michelle is our dedicated and experienced administrative assistant who keeps the office running smoothly. She has extensive experience in the legal field and prides herself on her quality of work and exceptional people skills. As a client, you will probably be talking to Michelle to organise appointments and follow up from our initial appointment with you.

Sally Fischer
Sally is new to the Legal Essentials team and comes to us with a background of administration and accounts. She describes herself as a die-hard Bombers fan. Sally has given Legal Essentials new enthusiasm and drive to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.
